Just thought I would share this fun microCT scan of a Ledebouria bulb that I did earlier this year. The ever so helpful Ed Stanley (@DrScanley) is a very patient man and helped me get this put together!
The video starts from the bottom of the bulb and then moves up through it passing through the stem and the swollen leaf bases, which is where bulbs store carbohydrates for the dormant season. I'm hoping to get other geophytes thrown into the CT scanner sometime next year and start looking for who-knows-what! This video is very mesmerizing so I recommend watching it on repeat. Hope you enjoy!
